You are within 250 metres of the beaches and the famous Promenade des Anglais, the lively Place Rossetti and the magnificent Cathedrale Sainte-Reparate, the beautiful Place Massena with its impressive fountains, the 18th century Place Garibaldi, the Opera House, concert halls and art galleries, the Chateau Hill, the Marina (Port), the Flower Market, hundreds of appealing restaurants, brasseries, cafes and bars and every type of shopping you could possibly wish for. If you want to go off and explore the rest of the Cote d'Azur, the central bus station is local. The apartment is in a perfect position for you to enjoy Nice and the whole of the French Riviera. A car is definitely not needed.
By taxi or bus the property is conveniently only 8-10 minutes from Nice Airport. The apartment has been professionally restored throughout to a very high standard with new floors, walls and ceilings, fitted kitchen and shower room, and with high quality furnishings and fittings in the classical Provencal style. There is an entry-phone system. There are marble-tiled floors throughout.
The very appealing and bright living room has French windows out onto a small balcony giving you a charming view up and down this quiet street. There is a CD/tape player/radio, DVD player and a television if you should ever have time to watch it.
There is an elegant Louis XVI style sofa in the living room, which opens up into a bed to sleep two more, thus giving 2 separate sleeping rooms, if required.
In the bedroom you have a king-size double bed, which has twin single mattresses and bases and therefore can be separated if you wish - very important on hot nights. There is a very large and useful walk-in cupboard/wardrobe/storeroom.
The "kitchen Americaine" is equipped with fridge/freezer, 4-ring hob, microwave, cafetiere, electric kettle and toaster, and there is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. The all-new fitted shower room (hair dryer provided) also has a wash basin, vanity unit and toilet. The apartment has central heating should you ever need it!
To keep the apartment cool on very hot days all of the windows and doors have the traditional external wooden shutters of the Region.
The apartment is extremely well-furnished and equipped to the same very high standard as our other apartments.
