The picturesque hamlet of Le Helleguy can be found in the department of Morbihan, southern Brittany, close to the river Blavet. Situated in a stunningly beautiful rural location, the hamlet is surrounded by landscaped gardens, fields and woodland.
The friendly village of Quistinic is 3 kms away, where local supplies can be purchased from the bakery, general store, pharmacy and bar tabacs. The larger town of Baud is 12km SE of the hamlet and offers a much wider variety of shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars etc. Our local bar/creperie is a leisurely 2km stroll from the hamlet, here a delicious variety of crepes can be tasted and the friendly Breton hospitality sampled.
Le Helleguy’s ideal location also offers easy access to many nearby medieval and historic towns and tourist attractions (e.g. Josselin, Auray, Poul Fetan, etc). Beautiful sandy beaches are less than 40 minutes drive away (30 minutes to Port Louis at Lorient), where a host of beach and sporting activities can be found.

Changeover day is Saturday but negotiable out of season. A non refundable deposit of 25% is requested to confirm booking. The balance is due eight weeks prior to arrival.

Heated Swimming Pool
Located within the old orchard is a magnificent 12.2m x 6.1m rectangular heated swimming pool. The pool has a telescopic shelter which enables an enjoyable swim in a warm, comfortable and sheltered environment from April through to November.
The telescopic shelter 14.7m long 6.8m wide and ranging from a minimum of 1.8m to 2m high is used to cover the pool at night and provide sheltered swimming out of season or should there be inclement weather. The shelter is retracted to enable open air swimming on hot sunny days. |
