Ferragudo is a picturesque unspoilt fishing village situated across the estuary from Portimao (Praia de Rocha) and is considered to be the hidden treasure of the Algarve. Its proximity to the larger resorts of Portimao, Praia de Rocha, Lagos, Carvoeiro and historic Silves makes it the ideal centre for the family. There are several golf courses including two Championship Courses at the famous Carvoeiro Golf Centre which is only 3km from the apartment. There are great beaches nearby including the large Praia Grande which is a 10 min walk away. There are great restaurants in the harbour and across the estuary in Portimao.

Notes to the rental rates
Apartment Rental Rates are based on 6 persons sharing, each additional person is charged at £50.00 per week .
Winter lets and winter breaks - If you are interested in longer breaks over the winter or even a winter let, we can arrange this and offer a special price. The Algarve has so much to offer even during the winter months.
The apartment rental rates are based on Thursday to Thursday, however we can often book weeks from Saturday to Saturday and even offer out of season weekend breaks.

Ferragudo is a 40 min drive from Faro Airport. The property is located on a new development about 5 mins walk from the centre of Ferragudo and has been newly furnished throughout.
There are great beaches in the area; two small 'cove' type beaches within a few minutes drive and the large Praia Grande beach is within walking distance.
Golf enthusiasts will find many Golf Clubs within easy reach including Penina Championship Course which is a 15 minute drive. The two Pestana golf courses, Pinta and Gramacho are only a 3 min drive away. Other facilities close by include Carvoeiro Tennis Club, Splash & Slide the largest water park in the Algarve and Zoo Marine.
There are some great restaurants in Ferragudo and others in the new Marina at Portimao can be reached by river taxi or by road. |
