Village shops & amenities: a boulangerie, boucherie/traiteur, epicerie (general store), post office and pleasant restaurant serving local cuisine, cafe-bar and specialist wine retailer are conveniently all situated within minutes walk of the apartment. The lovely old town of Beaune, centre of the region's winemaking tradition, is just 4km away and rewards the visitor with countless things to see and do. A visit to the magnificent Hotel Dieu is a must. There are several excellent museums, fascinating architecture, many interesting specialist shops and countless cafes and restaurants in which to experience the famous cuisine of the region along with the best burgundies.
