There is a fitted corner kitchen, a double bedroom which includes a child's bed and en-suite shower room and WC, a utility room which houses another W.C. and a terrace and fenced garden. Gites de France 2 stars. Pets welcome.

The Morvan Natural Park is the most northerly off shoot of the Massive Central. Most of the area is forested and hilly and there are many rivers and lakes. Life here is calm and peacefully, those looking for busy night life and on the spot entertainment should look elsewhere, those enjoying nature, walking and general de-stressing will love it. Even in high season it is not rare to be able to walk for miles without meeting another soul. Lac des Settons is not too far away for days on a vast lake windsurfing, swimming and boating. Horse riding can also be had in the vicinity. There are plenty of beautiful towns within easy driving distance and also the famous Burgundy vineyards.

| La Glycine is nestled in the Ternin valley and the area around is heavily forested, the river Ternin runs through the fields nearby. You can walk through the forests for hours and not encounter a living soul (even in the high summer) except maybe deer, rabbits, hares and occasionally glimpse a wild boar. Autun, some 25kms is excellent for shopping and is full of historic interest with its Roman gates and ampitheatre. The Morvan is a beautiful, relatively unknown area and for those that love peace and quiet, nature and walking or cycling it is ideal. |
