Kalkan Blue Villa is 2 minutes easy walk to centre of Old Kalkan Town.
For those of you who know Kalkan, close to Tomatoe and Ali Baba restaurants their are wide stairs leading up to the road and bus route to Kas across this road and tucked in and up behind shops giving a very quiet and private location with superb Harbour and sea views from pool level.
Alternatively walking away from harbour and reaching traffic round about at Taxi rank, turn right walking perhaps 100m on left side again up and behind shops.
The historic town of Kalkan nestles at the foot of the Taurus mountains and is situated on Turkeys gorgeous Lycian coast and was once a simple Greek fishing village.
Today Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty. The narrow cobbled streets are festooned with brightly colored bougainvillea intermingled with many whitewashed shutter shops selling ceramic pots and antiques crafts Turkish carpets and a multitude of excellent roof top restaurants and stylish bars. These streets twist down to the harbour which is the focus of the village and hear you can enjoy a meal watching an array of gullets and fishing boats from one of the many harbour side restaurants.
Market day is Thursday selling a wide variety of goods including locally grown produce, particularly good value are the herbs and spices.
Their are many things to do such as fishing, boating, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, trekking into the mountains or visit Patara beach to sea the massive Turtles or perhaps Kaputas beach.
On those days when you wish to venture away from the resort why not visit one of the abundant ancient sites from the Lycian era, close by are Xanthos, Letoon and Tlos or cool down at the amazing Saklikent gorge.

We ask for 100 pound when booking up until 1 Jan and then 50% until 8 weeks prior to holiday when at that time you would pay the balance.
If booking prior to new year we ask 100 pounds only and remainder of half in the January of holiday.
