Santa Barbara Court is located between Protaras and Paralimni, so has a quiet and peaceful setting. However, it is within easy walking distance of amenities. It is forty five minute drive from Larnaca Airport and ten minutes from Ayia Napa.
A supermarket is located across the road where you can buy everything from milk to beach wear. Further along the road is a fishmonger and bakery. A mile away is the small town of Paralimni. A lovely all year round town offering traditional Cypriot customs mixed with a new trendy town feel of designer shops catering for all tastes. There is even a Marks & Spencer’s !
The Karas Aparthotel, twenty minutes walk from the apartment, will welcome you to use their swimming pools, bars and restaurants as often as you wish. The food and service is excellent and the staff here are friendly and very helpful.
Next to the Supermarket opposite the apartment is a beautiful church and next to that is a children’s adventure playground, which is free. Within ten minutes walk are Doctors, Dentists, Chemists, Banks and a Hospital (though we hope you won’t need one).
Car, motorbike and scooter hire can be found less than ten minutes away, but don’t forget your driving licence. There is also public transport that can take you to all parts of the Island of Cyprus. The Taxis in Cyprus are Government controlled so their rates are set and very reasonable. They are also often large, air conditioned Mercedes, so a pleasure to use.
The Alkonia Taverna is located 150 metres from the apartment. A friendly but not too lively Taverna that does a great ‘Full English’ breakfast for those who like a traditional British start to their day. All other meals are excellent and inexpensive and the friendly atmosphere makes it easy to drop in for a meal or just a drink after a busy day relaxing !
Five minutes leisurely walk from the apartment you will find a further half dozen bars and tavernas and ten minutes more brings you to the centre of the resort of Protaras. Protaras is a lively resort where you will find all manner of entertainment and establishments. Taverna’s providing traditional ‘Greek Night’s’, Japanese, Chinese and Mexican restaurants and the usual fast foods from McDonalds and Burger King etc. For the young at heart there are late night bars and night clubs and of course, late night shopping.
Within ten minutes walk of the apartment there is a small fishing harbour where fresh fish can be bought each morning and fifty metres further on is a lovely sandy beach. This beach boasts all manner of water sports, a Glass Bottom Boat for those interested in the many and varied varieties of sea life on show. Next to this beach is the MALAMA Holiday Village that provides swimming pools, restaurants, snack bars, three bars, sports facilities including gymnasium, squash, tennis and badminton courts, indoor gaming area and much much more. There is also a bar with a terrace that looks out over the spectacular views of the coast line (see picture).

A taxi can be arranged in advance to collect you at Larnaca Airport. Please ask for details when booking. A welcome pack is also available which contains Water, Milk, Bread, Butter, Juice, Jam, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Cereal and Eggs. Please request these services when booking.
The rest of the apartment block is residential and so consideration would be appreciated with regards to excessive noise levels at night.
